Description

Monitoring systems in the nature of computer hardware to provide operators with situational awareness on targets of interest including characterization of target behavior, and temporal and spatial distributions for use in the maritime domain, border security, port security, critical infrastructure protection, search and rescue, and bird strike prevention with aircraft and bird protection applications such as wind turbines and tailings ponds; and radar networks consisting of combinations of (i) radar transceivers, antennas and supporting structures for the purpose of determining the position and dynamics of targets, namely, vessels, aircraft, birds, bats, vehicles or persons, (ii) radar detectors for the purpose of detecting targets, (iii) trackers, namely, target trackers for generating radar tracks and extracting data on targets, and (iv) target information systems, consisting of a combination of data processors, computer servers, and computer software for databasing and computer servers, all the aforesaid for providing analytical information about radar targets characterizing the observed target behavior to law enforcement, wildlife management, aviation safety and homeland security personnel, the aforesaid monitoring systems and computer networking hardware formed by various combinations of local and wide area network hardware
