Platform as a service (PAAS) services featuring computer software platforms for agriculture data acquisition, analysis, and management services using data acquired from networked and distributed agricultural and meteorological sensors, to monitor agricultural products and provide recommendations in respect thereof for agricultural producers; Platform as a service (PAAS) services featuring computer software platforms for management and treatment of agricultural products and pests by agricultural producers, namely, the monitoring of watering, insects and other pests, meteorological conditions, soil conditions including soil moisture, and the use of pesticides, pheromones for pest control and pest monitoring, water, fertilizer, and chemical and non-chemical treatments, as well as the impacts thereof and providing treatment recommendations in respect thereof for agricultural producers; providing online non-downloadable computer software for communicating with distributed monitoring sensors, displaying sensed data relating to agricultural producers' equipment, crops and growing areas, providing control signals when directed by agricultural producers to control devices and operators on agricultural producers' equipment, crops and growing areas, and for accessing remotely stored data relating to agricultural producers' equipment, crops and growing areas wherein said remotely stored data includes collected sensed data, third-party data, user-submitted data, derived data, and agricultural model data and recommendations based thereon for agricultural producers
