Software as a service (SaaS) featuring computer software for others to use in e-commerce and digital media to create embeddable and standalone content blocks by a user to be interacted with by customers to initiate a directed outcome, namely, automatic adding of a good to an electronic shopping cart, automatic removal of a good from an electronic shopping cart, display banners with messages directed toward the customer, build a subscription list, apply discounts, apply discount codes, add hidden metadata to a good in an electronic shopping cart, initiate website pop-up messages, replace customer website interface elements, track sales and analytics related to the usage of the content blocks; Platform as a service (PaaS) featuring computer software to assist a merchant in creating content blocks for attachment to websites, advertising, apps, and emails for the purpose of automatically adding or removing goods to an electronic shopping cart, triggering display banners and pop-ups with messages, building a subscription, applying discounts to goods in an electronic shopping cart, applying discount codes, altering a customer's interface elements on a website or app, adding hidden metadata to a customer's goods in an electronic shopping cart, and tracking sales and analytics related to customer usage of the content blocks; all of the foregoing for use in the e-commerce field and not for use in the fields of industrial plant management, industrial automation and process optimization, engineering, or manufacturing
